Inside Out Project - Public Art in Haverhill

Senator Ives, Mark Hayden and a Cutie Pie were just a few who showed us their spirit!

The first public photo shoot was a great success. We got more than 110 portraits, with nearly 200 folks in attendance.

The INSIDE OUT PROJECT is a global art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. 
We take portaits and blow them up to 3' x 5' and display them on public buildings, walls and windows.

Our faces tell the story of our communities rich talents, skills, spirit and soul.

This is an independent public art project seeking wide community participation and support.

The purpose of the project is to raise awareness of the creative Spirit and Soul of our community.

WHY?
Our goal is to celebrate the rich talents of our community. We want to find and photograph the creative people who live and work in Haverhill. 

These folks are business owners, children, elderly, artists, chefs, waitstaff, teachers, civil servants, public officials. No one is excluded. We all contribute to our community.

We want to see, capture, and celebrate the richness of our community as expressed in the faces of our people.

Join Us at the Public Photo Shoot - We want you!  

HOW?
We take a photo of you with your authentic expression, be it silly, happy, serious, etc. Then the photo gets printed a 3' x 5' And we display all the photos of our people in the streets and on the buildings of the Riverfront Cultural District. 

WHAT?
The streets/buildings become the public gallery to recognize an celebrate the people of Haverhill. This is a temporary art exhibit that is meant to give the people the power over their expresssion, to stimulate discussion and attract attention.



  • Seeking empty spaces
to be inventive! 
  • Community photos could be placed in lower or upper empty windows or storefronts windows or blanks walls.
  • Haverhill shops can join in
  • Projects Posters expressions on stairways at business entry
